My name is Ronald Kent Frederking. I have been painting for over sixty years. I use my middle name "KENT" as my artist signature. If I used my last name, it would take up half of the canvas. Also, I like my middle name and it rarely gets used. The pleasure of making a blank canvas come to life with color and form is just as rewarding today as it was when I first lifted a brush. My hope is that my paintings tell a story that is created by the imagination of the viewer whether the subject is a face, landscape, or scene with people.
